These dreamscapes are an externalization of internal spaces of mind. This is felt out through the shape of the mountains and transition of the skies which hang over seas of water or clouds of varying turbulence. There is no human presence but the dreamscapes are often are inhabited by buildings which reside over the scenes, sometimes set apart looking outwards towards something far away, at other times jostled in amongst the hubbub of a city. Time and geography are jumbled into one and laced with the surreal, so that Romanesque ruins can coexist with towering city blocks, derelict billboards, fairy tale castles or a three tiered cake. In the same way influence is drawn from the architecture of all eras and places including that of familiar fairytales which sometimes form the basis of a dreamscape. Most of these are personal creations which were sometimes drawn in a day and sometimes added to over years. There are also some commissioned pieces.
